What is this webinar about?
The workplace is supposed to be a safe place for all employees. However, women in the workplace face a higher likelihood of experiencing sexual harassment and discrimination on the grounds of sex than other employees.
This webinar will help to spot the signs of sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace and provide steps for addressing it. It will also discuss recent changes to the law that significantly affect women and their work including paid family and domestic violence leave and miscarriage leave.
Who is this webinar for: The webinar will be relevant to advocates, community workers and volunteers in services such as domestic violence, women's refuges and community legal centres. The information is applicable Australia-wide.
Presenter: Regina Featherstone, Solicitor, Employment Rights Legal Service at Redfern Legal Centre
