Volunteering opportunities

In 1977, Redfern Legal Centre opened its doors with just one paid staff member, barely any money, and a team of passionate and experienced volunteers with a vision to increase access to justice. Over 45 years later, volunteers are still integral to everything we do. We simply could not maintain our free legal services without the help of a dedicated team of volunteer solicitors, legal assistants, practical legal training students, pro bono partners and firms.

Redfern Legal Centre relies upon the dedication of experienced volunteer solicitors to help us meet legal demand. We only have limited openings for additional volunteers throughout the year. Each practice will open applications when vacancies arise.
