In short: The NSW government will withdraw and repay more than 23,000 fines issued during the COVID-19 pandemic. The government says the notices contained insufficient details about the offence they committed. What's next? Revenue NSW will reach out to all affected individuals and refund them for the fines.

Instead of repayment of invalid fines, Revenue NSW advises on its website it will reallocate the money to any unpaid fine debt.
