This webinar follows on from our 2018 webinar Help! My Client has Problem Debts #1: Navigating Internal Dispute Resolution.
In some cases you may not be able to resolve a dispute internally, so you will need to help your client escalate their complaint to an external dispute resolution scheme.
This webinar will provide you with tips and tactics to effectively and efficiently resolve common complaints with phone bills, electricity bills and banking debts through the following schemes:
- Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON) and similar bodies in each state and territory
- Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO)
- Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) - a new scheme resolving disputes with banks, insurers, super funds and small amount credit providers.
The webinar will also help you identify when a client needs to get legal advice.
