The International Student Service was relaunched in November after receiving one year’s funding from StudyNSW and additional support from Western Sydney University, and law firms Fragomen and McCabes.
The service, which is NSW’s only dedicated international student advice service, faced closure in September after a funding shortfall.
The service advises students across the state on matters such as employment problems and housing issues, and runs regular advice evenings that includes visa and immigration advice, provided pro-bono by Fragomen law firm.
All international students within NSW can access the service, which provides free legal advice and community legal education to international Students across the state.
