Cases dismissed due to mental illness have almost doubled in the NSW Children’s Court and are rising in all courts, with 2900 cases discharged on mental health grounds last year.

Fair Work Commission announces 5.2% increase to minimum wage

From 1 July 2022, the national minimum wage will be increased from $20.33 to $21.38 per hour. Casual employees covered by the minimum wage get at least a 25% loading on top of this.
