To summarise RLC’s position, we do not share the confidence of the government that the amendments would promote ethnic and racial inclusivity in Australia. RLC believes that the changes to the Act would only further destabilise the progress made to empower those who are vulnerable to racial discrimination. We will continue to represent and work towards reforming our legal system for the benefit of the entire community.
