Protesters who block access to major roads or infrastructure will face harsh new penalties under legislation passed through the NSW Parliament in April.

From 1 July 2022, the national minimum wage will be increased from $20.33 to $21.38 per hour. Casual employees covered by the minimum wage get at least a 25% loading on top of this.
