Redfern Legal Centre has an exciting opportunity for a First Nations lawyer to join our dynamic team. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with local First Nations stakeholders and interesting legal work across a varied range of areas of law.  The First Nations Justice Solicitor will work collaboratively with our specialist, experienced lawyers to deliver a culturally safe and responsive legal service to First Nations clients.

Today the NSW Supreme Court published its reasons in a test case about COVID-19 fines. The decision clarifies the requirements necessary for a fine to be valid, and calls into disrepute all the remaining 29,017 COVID-19 fines that have not been withdrawn.
