Community Legal Centres NSW and Redfern Legal Centre welcome new funding and practices to support CLCs across NSW. Joint Media Release: 1 August 2018.

Community Legal Centres NSW (CLCNSW) and Redfern Legal Centre have welcomed key amendments to the State Debt Recovery Bill 2017 which passed the NSW Legislative Council on last night (14 November 2018).

On 20 November 2017 the District Court held that an arrest for the statement “none of your fucking business” was unlawful, because the police failed to consider any alternatives to arrest.
