A NSW judge has found it was unlawful to arrest a man who told police "none of your f---ing business" when they stopped and questioned him last year. Sarah Muller reports for Sydney Morning Herald (21 November 2017)

On 14 November 2017, RLC's International Student Solicitor, Sean Stimson gave comments to SBS as part of a joint investigation by The Feed, SBS VICELAND, SBS language programs and Fairfax Media into permanent residency and visa-related scams targeting international students.​

Queanbeyan police will go to the homes of people on a secret NSW police watchlist without cause and will actively seek these people on the street. (The Sydney Morning Herald, 12 November 2017).

More than half the people on a secretive New South Wales police blacklist are Aboriginal, the state’s top law enforcement officer has revealed. Michael McGowan reports for The Guardian, 11 November 2017.​
