Investigators from Redfern Legal Centre and Slater and Gordon Lawyers are looking into unlawful Police searches at the Splendour in the Grass music festival.

RLC is taking a different avenue in challenging rising strip search use, as it announced last week that it’s teamed up with Slater and Gordon to run a class action on behalf of Splendour in the Grass patrons who may have been subjected to an illegal strip search

Redfern Legal Centre and Slater and Gordon Lawyer believe festival-goers who were unlawfully searched by NSW Police could be entitled to “substantial” compensation as part of a monumental class action case.
