Coordinated by the City of Sydney, the program offers free training, work-integrated learning and volunteering opportunities to help international students build leadership skills and experience. It’s also an opportunity for participants to make new friends, build a local support network and develop a sense of belonging while getting involved in events and activities.
More than 30 ambassadors from 13 countries and 8 educational institutions participated in the 2021/22 program. Together they organised 23 events for more than 1,500 students to support wellbeing and connection during the pandemic.
Training for successful applicants begins in February 2023.
