RLC is proud to be part of Get it Fixed! - a group of community organisations which has recently launched a website featuring tenants’ stories about their attempts to get Housing NSW to do repairs and useful information for tenants to get in contact with local services. Tenants can have their own stories heard by contributing material to the website: www.getitfixednsw.com
RLC’s tenancy service has been approached by a large number of tenants with very serious maintenance and repair problems in their public housing properties. We are also seeing cases where Housing NSW has failed to carry out repairs, even when a tribunal has ordered that repairs be done. Get it Fixed! will help these tenants’ voices be heard.
