The LECC has found that in two cases police have engaged in serious misconduct and in one case, excessive use of force.

LECC Operation Tambora
The LECC has found that a NSW Police Force officer who inflicted multiple baton strikes on a naked 16-year-old male in Byron Bay on 11 January 2018 used excessive force and should be considered for prosecution for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
LECC Operation Corwen
The LECC has found that three NSW Police Force Officers engaged in serious misconduct in the course of the detaining of a woman at a Sydney police station on 9 April 2016.
LECC Operation Baltra
The LECC has found that a Leading Senior Constable engaged in serious misconduct after he punched an intoxicated woman (Ms Z) in police custody on 15 September 2017.
