We are seeking an Intake and Referral Officer to work within our Sydney WDVCAS. The SWDVCAS Intake and Referral Officer (IRO) works with other SWDVCAS workers to accept referrals from the Central Referral Point, undertake safety assessments, make appropriate referrals for clients, assist with the general administration of the service and provide clients with an effective, streamlined service.
The person will have strong networking communication, advocacy and administration skills as well as knowledge and expertise in the area of domestic violence.
Status: This is a permanent, full time (35 hours) position.
Position identification: Being a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act.
Salary and benefits: $71,166 - $75,723 p.a. depending on qualifications and years of similar experience.
Superannuation and annual leave loading is paid in addition to this and salary packaging* is available. In addition to being a flexible workplace, RLC offers a 35 hour working week, time in lieu options and a paid Christmas closure of 2 weeks (including public holidays) on top of 4 weeks annual leave.
