PLT Placements (Volunteers) - Two Positions Available

RLC is seeking two enthusiastic PLT students to work 2-3 days per week under the supervision of our Police Powers and Health Justice Partnership solicitors. These positions are now closed.

Position Description

These positions will each work 2-3 days per week, placed within our Police Powers practice, and our Health Justice Partnership practiceThese positions are now closed.

Responsibilities include client intake, file review, general administration, research, legal drafting, interviewing clients, drafting content for submissions, articles and e-bulletins, and follow-up on client matters, under supervision of the practice solicitor.  

Applicants may apply for one or both positions, addressing the seleciton criteria using separated numbered headings. Links to each position are listed below.

Applications for the Health Justice Partnership PLT position should be addressed to the Health Justice solicitor. This positions are now closed.

Applicants must complete the online application form, ticking the ‘PLT - Other’ checkbox, and uploading the following documents in PDF format: 

  1. A cover letter addressing each of the selection criteria. Applications that do not address the selection criteria will not be considered.
  2. A CV including: contact details, education, relevant experience and two or three referees (include names, addresses and contact details).
  3. A copy of your academic transcript.
