Forum for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to discuss Constitutional recognition

First Nations Justice

Redfern Legal Centre, together with the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women's Legal Centre and the Mudgin-gal Aboriginal Women's Centre announce a forum on 15 September 2011.

The forum will allow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to discuss what they want to ask for in the consultation about recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Australian Constitution.

Following the consultation, RLC drafted a submission to the expert panel, which can be accessed below.
