Expressed Demand
RLC is an extremely busy centre, and is often the first point of contact for people in NSW seeking legal advice. The Centre has a steady stream of inquiries and requests, both by phone and in person. On each evening advice session 10 face-to-face and telephone interviews are conducted.
Daytime advice sessions are also heavily booked, with between 4 to 10 face-to-face interviews being conducted each session.
35% of our clients are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (coming from over 88 different countries) and 9.0% of our clients chose to identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
In 2008-09 the Centre provided services to around 10,000 clients.

- 32 law reform projects
Tenancy Service:
- 1,797 clients assisted
Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Scheme:
- 1,518 clients assisted
